There has been quite a bit of complaining about the officials, among other things, in these 2022 NBA Playoffs, with Memphis Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins a repeat offender. Jenkins' latest complaint came on Monday night after a heartbreaking 101-98 loss to the Golden State Warriors in Game 4 without Ja Morant, which has them down 3-1 in the second-round series.
What was the complaint about this time? Well, it wasn't as much of a blatant complaint as an âI'm just asking questionsâ type deal about Jaren Jackson Jr.'s potential game-tying 3-pointer in the final seconds:
Taylor Jenkins says he is curious to see what the Last Two Minute Report will say on the Draymond Green contest on Jaren Jackson Jr. late 3. Jenkins felt that the 3 mightâve been a little rushed but that there was contact.

With the Grizzlies down three points against the Warriors, Jackson forced up a contested triple with around 13 seconds left instead of working for a better look. The shot attempt got nothing but air because of Green's contest. While it looked like there could have been a foul called, it was still a horrid shot attempt:

The Grizzlies coach did at least acknowledge the terrible shot attempt, but there were even some Memphis people who didn't appreciate this latest complaint after a tough loss:

This stuff is ridiculous. Making himself look silly with comments like this. Why not use a challenge at the end on that Bane "foul" against Steph Curry? Why then talk about your curiosity at a poor play from Jaren when the game was basically lost? Why keep whining? https://t.co/NHa6z5yrYP

This bit came after Jenkins and the Grizzlies accused Jordan Poole of injuring Morant. While it looked like Poole may have played a role in Morant's knee injury by grabbing his knee, the Warriors guard and the rest of the team have insisted it was nothing malicious and he was just going for a loose ball.
The tensions have really been running high in this series, and that will happen with a number of close games, hard fouls and notable injuries. At this point it seems like the Warriors are going to pull it out, and they can only look back and laugh at all these complaints. But, first, they must finish the job.
