Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry has no problem with Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant doing the griddy on the court or trash-talking him. In fact, he loves it.
Everyone knows Curry is the same, often shimmying and celebrating wins in a really expressive manner. With that said, the Warriors sharpshooter knows where the Grizzlies youngster is coming from.
According to Curry, it just shows Morant's competitiveness and his “appreciation” for the moment. After all, only they know the work they have to put in to reach the level they are currently in.
“We all express it differently,” Curry said after Friday's practice, per NBC Sports. “There's definitely an excitement factor just watching him play, things he can do on the floor. The mannerisms he expresses on the court, I love it all because it shows just how much the game means to you, how competitive you are and the appreciation for those moments out there on the floor because you know all the work that goes into it.”

A lot has been said about Ja Morant' s on-court antics. In Game 1, the Grizzlies star was seen griddying in the second quarter, which didn't sit well with some fans who believe he doesn't have the right to do it. Besides, Memphis ended up losing the contest.
Clearly, though, Stephen Curry isn't bothered by it. While some would be annoyed and talk trash, he understands the joy and edge that Morant plays with.
The Warriors-Grizzlies series are now tied at 1-1, and by the looks of it, we'll see more trash talking and dancing as both teams attempt to get the better of each other.
THEY WERE UP 9 POINTS IN THE SECOND QUARTER & HE HIT THE GRIDDY IN THE MIDDLE OF A DAMN BASKETBALL PLAY 🤣🤣🤣🤣
