It seems that Minnesota Timberwolves forward Nemanja only surfaces in headlines for odd reasons. The last time most people probably paid attention to Bjelica was when he had a semi-brawl with Orlando Magic scrub, Arron Afflalo, back in January. Since then, there was a dearth of Nemanja news – until last night, when the Serbian big man pulled down his shorts while he was in the middle of completing a pair of free throws.

Bjelica just did not appear to have any sense of urgency here. He was at a leisurely pace while fixing his shorts in front of thousands of people in attendance at Vivint Smart Home Arena. He certainly provided a hilarious moment in a heated contest that saw the ejections of Karl-Anthony Towns and Jeff Teague. Towns was thrown out after getting two technical fouls just before halftime, while Teague was ejected when he got called for a flagrant foul two in the fourth quarter.
Nemanja Bjelica obviously just did not mind the kind of looks he was getting from fans, who paid to see basketball played at an elite level and not to watch someone make an NBA version of what former Chicago White Sox outfielder Steve Lyons did way back in 1990.
Unlike Lyons, however, Bjelica was fully aware of what he was doing. He simply did not care. Bjelica would knock both free throws down, though, and finished the contest with 12 points, four rebounds, an assist, and a steal in 45 minutes of a 116-108 loss at the hands of the Jazz.
Okay, let’s now see what the internet has to say about Nemanja Bjelica:

Shaqtin for sure.
