The Minnesota Timberwolves are currently 11-14, good for ninth in the tough Western Conference. Aside from an improved defense, the Timberwolves have benefitted from the leadership of their two stars, Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns. This time, Edwards offered some sage advice to his fellow star Towns on how to ‘kill.'
Anthony Edwards discusses how KAT needs to deal with double teams. “You gotta go quick.” Don’t wait for the double to come. He used Embiid as an example of going quick. Ant said it was disrespectful that Utah defended Towns with Bojan Bogdanović + Karl needs to kill every night. pic.twitter.com/kXhEiTl4qZ

Anthony Edwards is absolutely right about Karl-Anthony Towns. The Timberwolves center faces double teams from other NBA clubs quite often, but Edwards feels that he can go quicker when it comes to his decision-making, even citing Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid, who has become one of the better big men passing out of the double in the league.
Towns should heed Edwards' advice. The big man is averaging a career-high 3.4 turnovers per game, some affected by double-teams and others just by bad decision-making. However, the Timberwolves have another capable scorer ready to ‘kill' defenses in Edwards.

Not only that, but Edwards is right about Towns needing to take advantage of switches more. No offense to Utah Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanovic, but he has no business even trying to defend KAT. Towns can take smaller defenders like that to school whenever he wants.
That, according to guard Anthony Edwards, is how Karl-Anthony Towns can ‘kill' more for the Timberwolves.
