The Minnesota Timberwolves are only 3-5 since the All-Star break, but superstar big man Karl-Anthony Towns has been on a tear.
Towns has played in six games since the All-Star break. He missed the first two after getting into a car accident. The two-time All-Star leads the NBA in post All-Star player efficiency rating at 36.5.

Article Continues BelowTowns has recorded a double-double in five out of the six games. He has 42 double-doubles on the season and is establishing himself as one of the best players in the NBA.
Unfortunately for Towns, he's not getting that much help from his teammates. The Timberwolves are 30-35 on the season and will likely miss the playoffs. They are in the 10th spot in the Western Conference standings and trail the San Antonio Spurs by six-and-a-half games for the eighth and final playoff spot.
Towns is doing everything in his power to lead Minnesota to wins. Opposing teams have been double-teaming him every possession, but KAT is still able to score.
In a down season for the Timberwolves, it's been fun to watch Towns take the next step.
