The Minnesota Timberwolves have exceeded expectations this year, as they currently sit at 38-29, good for seventh place in the Western Conference. Led by Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards, the Timberwolves are armed with two of the better young stars in the NBA. Veteran Timberwolves guard Patrick Beverley made headlines when he shockingly looked at this Minnesota Timberwolves teammate as Michael Jordan 2.0, as reported by Fadeaway World.

Beverley told Edwards that he has the chance to be Michael Jordan. That is incredibly high praise for someone who is still only 20 years old and in just his second season in the NBA.
However, Edwards has certainly impressed in those two seasons, as he has averaged 20.2 points per game while playing solid defense and looking like a veteran beyond his years in terms of his leadership. Beverley certainly has a point in that Edwards can be really special in the league.
However, it's far too soon to be comparing the 20-year-old to Michael Jordan, no matter how skilled he may be.
