New Orleans Pelicans superstar big man Anthony Davis said on LeBron James' HBO show “The Shop” it bothered him when he first heard Pelicans fans boo him in his first home game following his trade request.
Davis put on a show in that game against the Minnesota Timberwolves in just 24 minutes. Davis finished with 32 points and nine rebounds. He was booed every time he touched the ball, but when he scored, the fans cheered.

And so it bothered me,” Davis said, via Ian Begley of ESPN. “And then when we tipped it up, it was over. I was like, ‘I'm about to get 30.'
“When I caught it, they booed. Then when we started losing and I went on a run myself, they were like, ‘We want AD.' And I was like, ‘You've got to make up your mind. You can't boo me and cheer me.' “
Since that game, Anthony Davis has continued to receive boos at home from the Pelicans fans. Even though AD has given it his all to New Orleans during his time there, the fans are still upset he wants out.
Davis is averaging 27.3 points and 12.4 rebounds this season. The fans in New Orleans could be upset because it seems like AD and his agent, Rich Paul of Klutch Sports, are trying to get The Brow to Los Angeles to play with LeBron.
