Anthony Davis is unquestionably one of the best players in the league today. This is no longer up for debate. In fact, in a survey recently conducted by the NBA, GM's voted the New Orleans Pelicans superstar as the top power forward AND center in the entire NBA.
This is certainly quite a feat for Davis considering how talent-packed these two positions are right now. As explained by John Schumann of NBA.com, the voting actually went down the wire.
In the PF spot, Davis got 37% of the total votes. Los Angeles Lakers stud LeBron James (who himself was deemedĀ the best small forward in the league) was not far behind with 33% of the votes. Kevin Durant of the Golden State Warriors (17%), Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks (10%), and LaMarcus Aldridge of the San Antonio Spurs (3%) round out the top five PF's, according to general managers.

Davis received 40% of the votes as the league's best center. Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid was voted second at 33%, while Karl-Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves (7%; last year's winner) was at third. Other fives who also received votes include Antetokounmpo, DeMarcus Cousins of the Golden State Warriors, Andre Drummond of the Detroit Pistons, Marc Gasol of the Memphis Grizzlies, Al Horford of the Boston Celtics, and Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets.
This speaks volumes of how GM's view Davis as he is also the only player to have been voted as the top stud in two positions.
