The New Orleans Pelicans are in Indiana on Friday taking on the Pacers, and the fans in Indy had some fun with Pelicans superstar big man Anthony Davis.

While Davis was at the free-throw line, Pacers fans chanted “your team hates you” at AD.

Anthony Davis has requested a trade from the Pelicans, but New Orleans decided not to trade him at the trade deadline. The franchise will try and move him in the summer.

Throughout this whole awkward process, players on the Pelicans haven't said anything bad about Davis. In fact, everyone has said The Brow has remained professional.

It's doubtful any of the players are upset with Davis. He's one of the best players in the world and is trying to compete for a championship, something which isn't possible in New Orleans with the way the Pelicans roster is constructed.

The rest of the season is going to be dicey for the team. How many minutes does Anthony Davis play moving forward? What type of relationship and dynamic does he have with the coaching staff? It's a scenario the NBA frankly doesn't want to see.

Before the All-Star break, Davis was getting booed at home by Pelicans fans, a sight which is something the league would like to avoid for one of its marquee players.
