Oklahoma City Thunder guard Chris Paul has built a Hall of Fame-worthy career, but one of his biggest flaws as a player has been an inability to stay healthy. He has been plagued by a series of injuries over the past couple of seasons, and there is no doubt that they slowed him down.
In fact, one of the biggest regrets CP3 has in his career has something to do with an injury he suffered back in 2010 with the New Orleans Hornets. In an interview with ESPN, he admitted he didn't take the rehab process for that injury seriously enough:
“Unfortunately, I've had a number of injuries. The worst one was the very first one, when I tore my meniscus in 2010. I was so young, and I didn't take my rehab serious enough. That's the one thing I would change. People think I would change the Houston vs. Golden State game where I got injured. No, it wouldn't be a win or a loss. It would be taking my rehab a lot more serious when I got injured.”

In his 14-year career, Chris Paul has only played a full 82-game season once.
There is no telling if Paul taking his meniscus tear rehab lightly had a significant impact on his career, but had he taken it more seriously, it is possible he would've been a healthier player because most of his recent injuries were in his lower body, particularly his knees.
Good thing he's still able to play at a high level up to this point.
