The New York Knicks have a solid young point guard in Frank Ntilikina, but the opportunity has yet to consistently arrive for the guard who just wrapped up his rookie season. The guard out of Belgium played just 21.9 minutes per game after being selected eighth overall in the 2017 NBA Draft, averaging 5.9 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 0.8 steals per game.

Despite the relatively low averages Ntilikina has been already been praised for his length and instincts on the defensive end of the basketball court.

He had one game with six steals in just 24 minutes of play against the Cleveland Cavaliers and another with five steals in 25 minutes of play against the Houston Rockets.

According to Marc Berman of the New York Post, there's been some talk that Ntilikina, who is still only 19 years of age, has grown an inch since the start of the 2017-18 season.

There’s talk Ntilikina, the Knicks’ 2017 lottery pick, has grown at least an inch since the start of his rookie season. In fact, there’s a chance Ntilikina, who turns 20 in October, will be bumped to 6-foot-6 — from 6-5 — in next season’s media guide.

If Ntilikina is truly still growing, who knows just how tall he could be. He's also been working hard at improving his jumpshot this summer, and that would open up a whirlwind of options for the Knicks on the offensive end if they get solid contributions from him on that end.
