New York Knicks second-year point guard Frank Ntilikina hasn't played in the last three games, a bad look for the Knicks franchise since he was the eighth overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
However, the 20-year-old is trying to stay positive though, and says he's going to become a better player from this experience.
Ntilikina quote on dealing with three straight DNPs: "I’m learning. I’m going to get out of this better, get out of this experience better than I was. This is going to get me tougher on the court, tougher mentally. Just better. It’s an experience that helps players."

In 23 games this season, Ntilikina is averaging just 5.9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game while shooting 33.3 percent from the field, 25.7 percent from beyond the arc and 93.8 percent from the free-throw line.

The Knicks have been better on offense without him on the floor. New York has an offensive rating of 106.2 with the second-year guard on the court, and that rating jumps up to 114.1 when he goes to the bench, per Basketball Reference.
Knicks head coach David Fizdale believes he'll get back into the rotation soon. Fizdale said Ntilikina had a good practice on Friday, so we'll see if the guard gets playing time on Saturday against the Brooklyn Nets.
Think about the players the Knicks could have taken instead of Ntilikina.
Point guard Dennis Smith Jr. went to the Dallas Mavericks right after Ntilikina. Shooting guard Malik Monk went two spots later to the Charlotte Hornets. Guard Donovan Mitchell went to the Utah Jazz at No. 13. It's safe to say Ntilikina isn't going to be as successful as those three players are going to be barring a shocking turn of events.
