Julius Randle was deep in his bag on Thursday night as the New York Knicks All-Star carried his squad to a come-from-behind win against the Washington Wizards. Randle, who had struggled all night, made sure to make a bucket when his team needed it the most and nailed a smooth baseline jumper to put the Knicks up by six with under 30 seconds to go in the game.

Randle's key bucket gave him 13 points on an awful evening efficiency-wise, shooting just 5-16 from the field. Still, the 26-year-old made his presence felt down the stretch and helped the Knicks outscore the visiting Wizards 39-24 in the fourth and final period which was highlighted by a 13-1 run to finish the game.

With Randle struggling all evening, the Knicks relied on the steady hand of second-year star RJ Barrett who logged in 42 minutes and dropped 24 points and 10 boards. Alec Burks also came up huge off the bench with a team-high of 27 points, 15 of which came in the last 12 minutes.

The win puts the Knicks to 14-8 at home and helps them continue to cement their spot in the middle of the East's playoff picture.
