There is very little doubt that this summer will come down as one of the most bizarre offseasons for the New York Knicks. The team went from potential top contenders to a lottery team yet again following a series of highly unfortunate events, that at the end of the day, might have been of their own doing.
It's quite difficult to understand how things went so horribly wrong for the Knicks organization, and as it turns out, even some of the league's top executives are on the same boat.

That's one way of looking at it, I guess. And in truth, it's hard to argue about his point right here. The Knicks panicked after failing to land Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, and their subsequent moves were definitely testament to this fact.
Randle is by no means a bad signing, and the same can be said about the likes of Bobby Portis and Marcus Morris. However, when you look at this from a perspective of what could have been for the Knicks, it truly is quite baffling. No doubt, it is extremely hard to be a New York fan right now.
