In one of the most exciting offseasons in recent memory, Carmelo Anthony is still a member of the New York Knicks. As he is only willing to waive his no-trade clause for the Houston Rockets, the Knicks new front office is reportedly not interested in Ryan Anderson's remaining three-year, $60 million deal.

With a third team likely needing to get involved to facilitate the Anthony-to-Rockets trade, it appears the 10-time All-Star will join the Knicks training camp. As the situation is awkward at this point, David Pick reports Anthony has engaged with his teammates:

While Anthony has been labeled numerous things, he has remained professional during this process. As President Steve Mills and general manager Scott Perry are evaluating their options, it would be best for them to embrace a full rebuild around Porzingis.

Since the Knicks are not going to trade Anthony just to make a trade, the hope is he will expand his list of potential trade destinations. The Portland Trail Blazers have maintained interest in Anthony and could have the necessary pieces like Moe Harkless to complete a three-team trade.
