The New York Knicks appear to be one of the more active teams in the league as Thursday's trade deadline quickly approaches. Julius Randle and his future in New York has been the stuff of rumors of late, and it sounds like a move away from the Knicks has become a real possibility for the reigning Most Improved Payer of the Year.

To be clear, it doesn't seem as though the Knicks are actively shopping Randle around. According to NBA insider Ian Begley of SNY, a number of teams from across the league have “expressed a degree of interest” in Randle and it would probably be safe to assume that at the very least, the Knicks are listening to any and all offers.

Be that as it may, the odds of Randle remaining in New York after the deadline remain high. As a matter of fact, the front office still believes that a Randle-led Knicks side can achieve success in the league:

“If the Knicks don’t move Randle by the deadline, it’s worth noting that some members of the organization have expressed confidence that the club can be effective if Randle continues to run the floor and play with energy, per people in touch with the team,” Begley wrote.

It sounds like the Knicks are playing it safe here. They appear to be willing to move their star forward, but only at the right price. However, if the right offer does not come, then they would be more than willing to move forward with Randle at the helm.
