New York Knicks center Kristaps Porzingis is undoubtedly one of the most unique and talented players in the league.
At 7'3, Porzingis is able to shoot the three-pointer better than some guards, and he has shot an impressive 36 percent from behind the arc for his career.
On top of that, he is extremely mobile considering his height, and the Latvian star is known to shift defensively with ease to swat shots, averaging 2.1 blocks per game.
A talent like this rarely comes along, and the Knicks should do everything in their power to keep the Unicorn under contract.
However, there is one issue with Porzingis; he is coming off a left ACL tear that robbed him of about half of the 2017-18 season.
Because he is rehabbing from an injury that historically has hobbled big men, it remains to be seen if he can come back and still be the player he used to be.

Right now, Porzingis is still on his rookie contract and is only getting paid about $6 million a year.
For a player of his impact, this seems to be a massive steal for the Knicks organization. Almost all players on Porzingis' level are getting eight-figure contracts.
It looks like Kristaps Porzingis will have to prove he can still compete at the same level before he gets a paycheck of that size. All eyes will be on him as soon as he plays his first regular season game.
