New Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Ronnie Price sung high praise of running mate Russell Westbrook today, saying he's “hands down” the best player he's ever played with.

While he indeed pointed out he had played with Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash, he did so when they were both in the last legs of their careers, making it a somewhat uneven comparison.

Worth to note, it's not so much the loss of athletic ability and playing time that might affect this notion; Bryant and Nash would sit out practices and skip weightlifting sessions to focus on their recovery, which is also a huge part of earning a teammate's respect.

Westbrook is arguably at the prime of his career and one of the most explosive guards this league has ever seen.

Ronnie Price's comments will surely pay dividends on their relationship as sophomore point guard Cameron Payne just broke out of his walking boot two weeks ago and is just starting to get wheels in motion. Price should expect to see minutes backing up Westbrook this season.
