Former NFL receiver Chad Johnson still hasn't backed down the challenge issued to reigning MVP Russell Westbrook, having challenged the six-time All-Star to a game of one-on-one on Monday night.
Johnson catapulted off this Bleacher Report tweet detailing the story of how this challenge came about to let Brodie know just how confident he is in his abilities.
Brodie don't want no smoke w/ these feet & quickness on the court. 🤷🏿♂️ https://t.co/99bJm5fCAz

Johnson called out Westbrook at random, asking to play the Oklahoma City Thunder in a game of one-on-one.
Want to play @russwest44 1 on 1 tomorrow

Westbrook trolled him by asking him what sport.

Lol in what? https://t.co/V0kYykmrSk

Lol? Basketball, I'm in LA, no excuses just name the court & time. https://t.co/CpoA1vDqZe

While many fans are more than willing to watch this happen to get rid of some of the dullness of the NBA/NFL offseason for a few minutes, it's hard to see Westbrook giving in to this challenge, as it would merely qualify as a waste of time.
Even if the spectacle wouldn't be a fierce battle, seeing Johnson's sheer confidence as an athlete slowly wane bucket after bucket might be worth the look.
Not many NBA players have been able to stop Westbrook on the hardwood, and while Johnson might still have the quicks from his days in the gridiron, it's a far cry to say he'd measure up against a triple-double machine and a scoring champion at the top of his game.
