Oklahoma City Thunder rookie guard Josh Giddey rubbed salt into the wound of the New York Knicks after taking them down at Madison Square Garden on Monday.

Giddey recorded a triple-double to lead the Thunder to a 127-123 OT victory, finishing with a monstrous 28 points to go with 11 rebounds and 12 assists. He made all sorts of record with the performance, and so naturally, he was hyped with it.

Adding insult to the injury of the Knicks, however, Giddey tweeted his love for playing in the iconic MSG along with a happy face emoji that is sure to annoy the hell out of Knicks fans.

It's hard to blame the Thunder teenager for the reaction. After all, a lot of player has professed their love for MSG due to its atmosphere. The history of being the mecca of basketball exudes in the building.

However, we can't also stop Knicks fans from getting frustrated with the reaction. Josh Giddey just torched the Bockers, and the last thing they want to hear is for their opponent to rub it into them.

On a positive note, Knicks fans can call themselves lucky to witness one of the best rising stars in the league. Giddey actually broke a tie with Luka Doncic for the most triple-doubles by a teenager in NBA history, and the youngster has a chance to even surpass LeBron James' record of 11.
