Although the MVP conversations this season are about Giannis Antetokounmpo, James Harden, and Paul George, Russell Westbrook continues to be one of the best all-around players this season. Oklahoma City Thunder's All-Star guard notched his 30th triple-double of the season by scoring 25 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and dishing out 11 assists in a losing effort against the Dallas Mavericks.
Westbrook is now the first player in NBA history with at least 30 triple-doubles in multiple seasons.

Westbrook is on pace to average a triple-double for the third straight season, as he's currently putting up 23 points, 11 rebounds, and 10.4 assists per game this year.

Unfortunately, Westbrook hasn't been able to propel OKC to victories. From being the third best team in the West three weeks ago, the team has struggled and are now on the eighth spot in the conference. They have lost two straight and seven of their last ten games.
At 44-33, the Thunder have five games left in the season. If they want to avoid a nightmarish first round match-up against the defending champion Golden State Warriors, they should do their best to win all those games and hope for a bit of luck that teams like the San Antonio Spurs and Utah Jazz would lose all or majority of their remaining games.
But if there's one team that can bounce back from all the struggles, it's OKC. They have started the season 0-4 before turning the tables around and becoming a title contender.
If they can relive that magic, they will be just fine in the postseason.
