It won't be long now until Shai Gilgeous-Alexander joins the pantheon of the league's greats. Not longer than his name, for sure. On Tuesday night, the Oklahoma City Thunder lost to the Milwaukee Bucks, 142-115, but SGA made sure that he went down fighting.
SGA once again carried the torch for the Thunder, finishing with 33 points on 11-of-18 shooting from the field, eight rebounds, career-high 14 assists, three steals, and a block. If someone asked him to play a fifth quarter with his right hand tied to his back, he would've gladly agreed.
With another all-around showing, Gilgeous-Alexander now has four 30-point and 10-assist games this season, tying LeBron James, Nikola Jokic, and Ja Morant, according to StatMuse.

The 23-year-old guard has truly impressed this season, proving that he's worth every cent of the massive contract he signed with the Thunder in the offseason. While his laudable numbers haven't really translated to wins, they have a very young squad still in a rebuilding phase. SGA, however, has made the Thunder a fun team to watch.
He has been on a tear since the All-Star break, exploding for at least 30 points in six of their last seven games. With Lu Dort, the Thunder's second-leading scorer already out for the rest of the season to undergo surgery to repair his left shoulder, SGA will be tasked to carry an even heavier load.
The Thunder, who dropped to 20-45, will look to bounce back against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday.
