The Oklahoma City Thunder's game against the Atlanta Hawks turned messy in the third quarter. With their team up 82-66 in the four-minute mark of the third, Russel Westbrook was called for a technical foul because he let his emotions get the better of him.

The incident stemmed after Westbrook battled for possession of the ball near the Hawks' bench with DeAndre Bembry. The ball rolled over to John Collins, who then threw the ball at the Thunder star.

Russell Westbrook then fired the ball back at Collins, who was on the Hawks' bench. Vince Carter, who was also sitting on the bench at the time, stood up and confronted the seven-time All-Star. The two exchanged words and had to be restrained by teammates and game officials.

Carter, the oldest active player in the NBA, also got a technical foul for his actions. As it appears, Russell Westbrook is ready to take on everyone from the Hawks' bench.

Westbrook just missed a triple-double in this outing. He finished with a game-high of 23 points, nine rebounds, and 10 assists.

The 21-year veteran, on the other hand, did not see action in this game but remained on the bench the whole time. He recorded a stat to his credit, however, because of the technical.
