Last season, Oklahoma City star guard Russell Westbrook made history by becoming the first player in 52 years to average a triple-double throughout the course of the regular season. It resulted in him winning the MVP Award, as he was also able to lead his team, who just lost Kevin Durant the previous summer, all the way to the playoffs.

The seven-time All-Star's feat may be very hard to achieve, but there are still a lot of fans who are not impressed by it and are accusing him of stat-padding. On Thursday against the Phoenix Suns, they may have another piece of evidence that could prove their claim, as Steven Adams committed a turnover after trying to tip an uncontested rebound to Westbrook so he can have another one recorded across his name, via a video posted by sreekar on Twitter.

Russell Westbrook finished the game two rebounds and an assist shy of another triple-double as he recorded 30 points, eight rebounds, and nine assists. The Thunder totaled 18 turnovers on the night, but fortunately for them, that did not matter as they still ended up with a blowout victory, 115-87. Steven Adams, meanwhile, had 16 points and 12 boards.

For what it's worth, the clip only strengthens the belief of many that Westbrook's personal stats is more important to him. However, to be fair with him as well, he always plays with the same intensity night in and night out, making it difficult to think of him that way. He has also made it clear in a number of interviews that he is only concerned about winning more than anything else, and wants to win a championship with the Thunder soon.
