After he was drafted second overall in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic, it is finally time that Indiana Pacers star shooting guard Victor Oladipo can call himself an All-Star in 2018.
According to an article published by reporter Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel, Oladipo's former Magic teammates were quite thrilled for him making the All-Star Game as a member of Cleveland Cavaliers superstar forward LeBron James' team.
One of the people who was thrilled for Oladipo was none other than Magic forward Aaron Gordon, who reflected on his time as Oladipo's teammate.
“I’m so, so, so, so happy for Victor,” Gordon said. “He just works so hard. He’s so talented and skilled, and he really deserves it. He’s playing so well. He’s back in his comfort zone in Indiana. Man, I’m so happy that everything worked out for him. I miss playing with him. That’s for sure.”

After he was acquired by the Pacers via the Paul George trade with the Thunder, Oladipo has flourished and become the top option for Indiana's offense.
Current Magic point guard Elfrid Payton was very happy for Oladipo as well, considering him more as a brother than a teammate.
“He’s a good friend of mine, more of a brother,” Payton said. “I’m so happy for him, so glad he got his opportunity, because a lot of times that’s what it’s about: the opportunity and situation. He’s thriving in that situation.”
Oladipo has surely taken full advantage of the golden opportunity with the Pacers, as the former Indiana University product is currently averaging 24.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game in 34.1 minutes of action per contest.
