The New Orleans Pelicans’ social media team is back at it again with their troll posts for Skip Bayless. Just last week, the veteran sports analyst took a shot at Anthony Davis on Undisputed, calling him the most overrated player in the NBA — and now, the Pelicans are firing right back at Bayless.

The team’s Twitter account did not allow his comment to just slip by as they fired a shot directed at him, posting his stats as a player, as well as a meme-worthy image of Stephen A. Smith, and his photos coming out as a result of a Google search for the most overrated player in basketball.

On Monday, the five-time All-Star had a very impressive game against the Phoenix Suns, finishing with 53 points, 18 rebounds, and five blocks. It disproves Bayless’ claim further, and the Pelicans’ social media team took it as an opportunity to continue roasting him for the comments he made last week.

Many consider Davis as one of the best big men in the NBA today, especially with his solid averages, and how he has willed the Pelicans to their record this season.

That said, it has made a lot of people wonder why Skip Bayless even called him overrated in the first place, as his production will not back up his claim.

It can be expected that more trolling will be done by the Pelicans’ Twitter account as the season progresses, especially if Davis continues to record historic numbers.

The former Kentucky Wildcat is the only player in the last 17 years to reach at least 50 points and 17 rebounds in a single game, and if his team can make the playoffs, or even make a deep run, it won’t be a bad idea for Bayless to start preparing himself to get roasted even more — unless he retracts what he said and admit he was wrong all along. With Bayless, though, that's unlikely to happen.
