The Philadelphia 76ers are getting back star big man Joel Embiid back on Wednesday when the Sixers take on the Utah Jazz.

Embiid was suspended two games for fighting Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns.

Philly is coming off its first loss of the season to the Phoenix Suns. The Sixers are lucky to be getting Embiid back against the Jazz, as Utah big man Rudy Gobert is a handful to deal with in the post.

On the season, Embiid is averaging 23.3 points, 10.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists. He's shooting 51.1 percent from the field, 36.4 percent from beyond the arc and 81.8 percent from the free-throw line.

The Sixers, according to most pundits at least, are the favorite to win the Eastern Conference. For that to happen, Embiid and fellow All-Star Ben Simmons have to play at a high-level on both ends of the floor. Thus far this season, Simmons is still reluctant to shoot from the perimeter. That has to change once the playoffs start, but it's still unclear if the lefty has confidence to shoot jumpers.

The Sixers will be eager to get back in the win column on Wednesday versus the Jazz after losing to the Suns.
