Following a disappointing 125-89 blowout loss at the hands of the Toronto Raptors in Game 5, Philadelphia 76ers head coach Brett Brown suggested the team's will hasn't broken, despite the result.

The coach instead pointed to his team looking forward to getting a win at home and forcing this series to a Game 7, now facing elimination on their own home court:

“We're excited to go back to Philadelphia,” said Brown, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin. “Nobody's walking out of here, ‘Woe is me.' I promise you that. We have a prideful team; we have a team that had a poor performance tonight. … But nobody's walking out of here thinking anything else but we're excited to go back to Philadelphia and find a way to win. This is the bottom line.

“There is no dent to our spirit; there is no self-pity. We're excited to get back and get ready to play again.”

Brown is right. The Sixers can't be deflated going into the most important game of their postseason — a win-or-go-home scenario that doesn't get any better than forcing the Raptors to play one more game to earn the right to go to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Philly is hopeful that Joel Embiid will feel better in time for Game 6 on Thursday after suffering from an upper respiratory infection and being hooked up to an IV for the past two games, which have resulted in losses for the Sixers.

The big man scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds while committing a game-high eight turnovers — numbers that didn't help the Sixers in this rout.

Forward Jimmy Butler noted the Sixers will “ride or die” with Embiid on the court, a nice gesture of confidence through this dire stretch of their season.
