There's nobody more excited about James Harden making his debut with the Philadelphia 76ers than Daryl Morey.

The Sixers team president was excited enough to send out an ominous tweet directed at the Minnesota Timberwolves, Philadelphia's first opponent after the All-Star break:

“Find out Friday,” said Morey, even tagging the TWolves' official Twitter account.

If anyone knows and believes in what James Harden is capable of, it's Daryl Morey. For years, he has tried to make good on his two-superstar approach, pairing up Harden with the likes of Chris Paul and then later on Russell Westbrook.

But while both of those pairings had their fair share of question marks throughout, Harden's new running mate in Sixers center Joel Embiid seems like the perfect complement to his skill set. The inside-outside threat that both offer figures to be an unstoppable offensive attack that has Sixers fans thinking championship.

James Harden has never played with someone as good as Joel Embiid while in his prime. The fact that the team is still loaded with talent around the roster despite giving up assets to acquire him just makes them that much more dangerous. Tobias Harris, Tyrese Maxey, Matisse Thybulle, Danny Green and the newly acquired Paul Millsap provide a strong supporting cast in Philadelphia.

It all starts against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night.
