James Harden has yet to suit up for the Philadelphia 76ers due to a hamstring injury, but he is already having major impacts on the other aspects of the team.

As Sixers reporter Lauren Rose noted, the Sixers are the best-selling NBA team in terms of jersey sales in the Fanatics Network since the trade deadline. And the best-selling jersey during that time? You guessed it: Harden.

Of course it might just be a small sample size since it only accounts jersey sales from the Fanatics Network, but it certainly proves that James Harden remains as popular as ever and his economic impact can't be denied.

For what it's worth, in the recent stats from NBAStore.com (via Sporting News) on their jersey sales from October 19 to January 12, Harden didn't even make the top 15 among the best jersey sales in the league. The Brooklyn Nets were fourth in merchandise sales, while the Sixers were eighth.

Of course the recent surge could very well just be the impact of the trade. Since he's on a new team and Philly fans are really passionate about the Sixers, the hype to get his jersey was at an all-time high.

It's still good news for the Sixers, though James Harden certainly has a lot to prove now that the whole city is expecting him to propel the franchise to championship contention alongside Joel Embiid. If not, fans might have a lot of jerseys to burn.
