After months of anticipation, the Philadelphia 76ers finally found a new place of employment for Ben Simmons. In exchange for him, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond, and two first-round picks, the Sixers acquired James Harden and Paul Millsap.
Of course, Harden and Simmons were the headlining names in this trade. Now, the Sixers must focus on the health of the star point guard, and his debut with Philadelphia.
Harden won't be suiting up for the Sixers this weekend, but he will be with their medical staff to undergo evaluation. Philly Inquirer Sixers beat writer Keith Pompey tweeted the news Friday morning.
As @KyleNeubeck first reported, James Harden will not play for the Sixers this weekend. He will come into the practice facility this weekend to be evaluated by the team’s medical staff.

The Sixers have two games this weekend. They play Friday night at home against the Oklahoma Thunder and host the Cleveland Cavaliers Saturday night.
They have two days off after that and host the Boston Celtics Tuesday night. If all goes well in Harden's evaluations this weekend, there is a chance that he could make his Sixers debut on Tuesday. He has been dealing with a hamstring injury and missed six of the Nets' last eight games
Meanwhile, the Nets are welcoming the former Sixers trio to Brooklyn. They did not play in the Thursday night loss against the Washington Wizards. The Nets will travel to Florida for their next game against the Miami Heat Saturday night. Simmons, Curry, and Drummond could all make appearances in the matchup.
