Jimmy Butler's heroics were enough to complete the task for the Philadelphia 76ers, stealing a road game and tying up the Eastern Conference Semifinals at 1-1 against the Toronto Raptors. Butler's brilliant 30 points spearheaded the win, but the two-way star wasn't impressed or relieved by the Sixers finally coming to The Six and winning after 14 straight road losses against the Raptors.

The Sixers had not won in Toronto since Nov. 10, 2012, making it one of the longest active road skids before it was snapped on Monday night:

“Everybody wants to paint the picture that we haven't won here in however many years,” said Butler after the game, according to The Associated Press. “I'm just glad that we came out on top. We don't care how many games we've lost, nothing like that.”

Raptors head coach Nick Nurse was expecting Butler to bust out with a big game after putting up only 10 points in 38 minutes during a Game 1 loss on Saturday:

“Jimmy Butler is a gamer,” said Nurse. “He wasn't going to be quiet this whole series.”

Butler trotted out 30 points (9-of-22 from the floor, 4-of-10 from deep and a perfect 8-of-8 from the stripe), 11 rebounds, five assists and a blocked shot, which was enough to help his team to a 94-89 Game 2 win.

The Sixers still have work ahead of themselves, as they must lock up wins on their home floor in Games 3 and 4 to put the Raptors on the back of their heels in this closely contested series.
