Jimmy Butler has been absolutely great since making the big move to the Philadelphia 76ers. However, the 6-foot-8 swingman did admit that he has yet to fully adjust to life with the Sixers, particularly with the vernacular of the team.
Speaking to Kyle Neubeck of the Philly Voice, Butler explained how he has been working hard to get up to speed with the team's lingo.
“The lingo is very different, but that comes with time,” Butler said. “I'm picking it up, studying the film, writing all the different terminologies down so they're stuck in my head.”
Looking at the stat sheet though, it would be very easy to assume that Butler had already fully integrated himself to the Sixers system. The 29-year-old's move from the Minnesota Timberwolves has been as seamless as anyone could hope for, with Butler averaging 20.3 points on a career-best 51.5 percent shooting, 1.6 3-pointers, 4.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.1 steals, and 0.6 blocks in seven appearances for Philly.

More importantly, the Sixers have looked much better since Butler's arrival. The team have won five out of the seven games since the former Most Improved Player awardee jumped on board.
With Butler in the mix, the Sixers have established themselves as a true contender for the championship this season.
