Joel Embiid crushed the hearts of Toronto Raptors fans with an unreal buzzer-beater for the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 3 of their playoff series. Naturally, it left the NBA world in awe, with fans, media personalities and even NBA players sharing their amazement on social media.
Among the first ones to react to the Embiid's game-winner were Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton and Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma. Haliburton couldn't help but laugh at how insane JoJo's shot was, while Kuzma went as far as to declaring the Sixers superstar the real MVP. After all, how many 7-footers can make a triple off a spin with the game on the line?
I know we’re numb to a lot of things in this Society but a 7 foot center just cashed a three to win a playoff game.

Joel Embiid finished with 33 points, 13 rebounds, two assists and one block in the 104-101 win. He did have six turnovers, but he certainly more than made up for it with his clutch heroics for the Sixers.
Sure enough, the rest of the NBA world heaped praise on the Cameroonian big man for his performance. While it is just the first round of the playoffs, seeing him dominate this early has definitely been exciting to watch.
JOEL EMBIID IS THE BEST BIG OF ALL TIME

I love Kate Scott but this is a shot I wish Zumoff had the call. I can hear it now. “EMBIID FOR THE WINNNNNN …. YESSSSSSSSS!”

For what it's worth, FOX Sports analyst Chris Broussard offered some reminder for Embiid as he celebrates the game-winner and the victory. There's no ill intention or whatsoever, as Broussard just wants Embiid to not forget about attacking the paint. Besides, after such sweet shot, who wouldn't want to keep making threes?
Great shot by Embiid, but still, “don’t fear the paint, big fella!”

As reported earlier, the game-winner is Joel Embiid's first game-tying or go-ahead shot in the final seconds of a regular season or playoffs game. He was 0-of-14 before in such attempts, so it is definitely a massive confidence booster for him.
Hopefully, Sixers fans get to see more of Embiid's heroics in the playoffs.
