As Tobias Harris of the Philadelphia 76ers was putting the finishing touches on their 99-96 victory over the New York Knicks on Tuesday, he had some strong words to yell at the limited-capacity crowd at the Madison Square Garden.

Harris, a New York native, clearly had to stan himself in his hometown.

Though Harris was not named to the All-Star Game this season unlike his teammates Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons (who both sat out the game due to COVID-19 protocols), he's been having a solid campaign. While the 28-year-old Harris has yet to make an All-Star Game in his career, he certainly played as if he was deserving a spot on Tuesday.

Harris finished the game against the Knicks with a sterling line of 30 points on 11-of-20 shooting, including two huge buckets in the fourth quarter that gave the Sixers a lead they never relinquished. The Knicks had chances down the end, but Harris’s clutch buckets were too much.

Perhaps Harris was aiming his outburst at Knicks main man Julius Randle, who made his first All-Star Game this season. While Randle’s numbers have been truly impressive this season, Harris’ team has the better record, and he did outplay Randle on this occasion.

Harris is having a career year with 20.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game, all of which are close to his career-highs. Beyond that, his advanced numbers are all career-bests, including a 60.8 true shooting percentage, 20.0 Player Efficiency Rating, .172 win shares per 48 minutes, and a 3.1 box plus/minus.

Tobias Harris has every right to be pumped.
