There were a lot of positive takeaways from the Philadelphia 76ers' win over the Toronto Raptors Tuesday night. Joel Embiid continued his dominant stretch, the supporting cast showed signs of life again, and much more. One of the game's biggest storylines came from Tobias Harris, who did something he had never done before.
For the first time in his 11-year career, Harris posted a triple-double. He finished the game with 19 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. There have been numerous occasions where Harris has come close to this feat, and he has finally gotten over the hump.

After the game, Harris reflected on his career night. He had known he was getting close to achieving a triple-double during the matchup, but he did not let it get in his head.
“At halftime or early in the third quarter, I saw it. But for me, it was just to go out there and figure out ways to make plays. Obviously, I definitely would have loved to shoot the ball better. A lot of good looks that I thought that I got hit on just didn't go that way. But overall, just wanted to stay aggressive and just create plays out there, so credit to my teammates for making good looks and being able to knock down shots and finish,” the Sixers forward shared, per Ky Carlin of USA Today.
Tobias Harris deserves a ton of credit for his showing against the Raptors. Even though he shot 3-for-12 from the floor, Harris managed to find ways to help contribute to the win.

Good players always find a way to stay on the floor when their shots aren't falling. Instead of getting in his head over a poor shooting night, Harris directed his focus to other areas where he could provide a lift. He even found ways to get more points on the board for the Sixers, getting to the free-throw line a team-high 14 times.
At this point in his career, it's a little shocking Harris has never reached this plateau before. Since his early days in the league, he has grown into a do-it-all forward that can fill up the box score when he gets going.

Since arriving in Philadelphia, Harris has cemented himself as one of the Sixers' leaders in the locker room. Performances like this are a great way to lead by example for some of the younger guys on the roster–proving that other things can be done on the court to help ensure a win outside of scoring the ball.
Notching a triple-double had to be a feel-good moment for Harris and the Sixers. His season has not exactly gone as planned, but he is starting to find his footing once again. Tuesday went from a shooting performance he'd like to forget to a game he will always remember.
