After the Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Phoenix Suns at home Monday, new Sixers star Jimmy Butler shared a special moment with Hall of Famer Allen Iverson.

With Jimmy Butler in the mix, the Sixers have a great chance to get to the NBA Finals from the first since 2001, when Allen Iverson took the franchise there. The Answer scored 48 points in his only NBA Finals victory, as the Sixers took Game 1, 107–101 in overtime, handing the Lakers their only loss of that postseason.

Iverson is excited about Butler’s arrival in Philadelphia and the two embraced on Monday.

Jimmy Butler, 29, is one of the best two-way players in the NBA. In 13 games season, the four-time All-Star is averaging 20.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.3 assists while shooting 49.2 percent from the field, 38.5 percent from beyond the arc and 77.3 percent from the free-throw line.

The Sixers are now 3-1 since acquiring Jimmy Butler from the Timberwolves. The swingman can become an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2019 if he declines his 2019-20 player-option. Sixers general manager Elton Brand said at Butler's introductory press conference that he hopes this is a long-term partnership with Butler.

Maybe Allen Iverson can help show Jimmy Butler around Philadelphia and do some early free agency pitching.
