After their heartbreaking Game 7 loss, Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons was graceful in defeat as he called Toronto Raptors forward Kawhi Leonard ‘an incredible player.'

In his presser, Simmons looked back on Leonard's game-winning shot over the outstretched arms of Joel Embiid. Apart from praising Leonard, Simmons also commended the Raptors for grinding it out the entire series.

In Game 7, Ben Simmons logged in 13 points, eight rebounds, five assists, three blocks and one steal. For the entire series, the 2018 Rookie of the Year averaged 11.6 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.3 steals across 36.1 minutes per night.

While this marks the end of the season for him, it definitely isn't the end of his young career. In fact, this signifies just the start of good things for Simmons and the Sixers. After all, in two years in the league, Simmons has already been a critical piece of the team's playoff appearances.

Not every player has had the opportunity to make it to the playoffs and gain lessons from it. Simmons is very lucky in this regard. But it also says a lot about his skill and latent potential. In the end, for Sixers fans, there's nothing to be sad about. The squad is young and hungry and they can only get better from this experience.
