Since making his debut for the Philadelphia 76ers this season, Ben Simmons has impressed with his ability to excel at the point guard spot despite standing 6-foot-10. His ability to set up teammates has been one of his strongest suits, which he continues to display in every game.
That was the case on Saturday night when Simmons and the Sixers faced off against the Cleveland Cavaliers. In one play, he proved that he is very effective with his role as playmaker, when he confused the defense as he dropped a dime to Robert Covington for the easy basket.

Last year’s top overall pick finished with another solid stat line of 14 points, six rebounds, and 10 assists. However, his efforts were not enough, as the Cavs won 105-99 behind LeBron James' triple-double effort. Joel Embiid did not play in this game as the Sixers decided it best to rest their franchise center on this front-end of a back-to-back.
The Sixers have now lost three consecutive games, and saw their record drop to 13-12 for the season. They will look to get back to their winning ways Sunday against the New Orleans Pelicans.
