Chris Paul is on his way to his first NBA Finals appearance, and despite the long time he had to wait to get his chance, the Phoenix Suns star never really doubted that he would make it.

Sure enough, if there is an NBA player who is the embodiment of the “never say die” and “never give up” attitude, it's Chris Paul. At 36 years old, many believed that he is no longer as impactful as he once was. However, Paul made sure that would not happen. In Game 6, he saved his best for last to ensure there won't be another day for the Los Angeles Clippers, exploding for 41 points with zero turnover. It was a masterpiece of a performance, and it perfectly showed CP3's attitude and mentality at this stage of his career.
The job is not yet done for the Suns as they await the winner of the Milwaukee Bucks-Atlanta Hawks series out East. One thing is certain, though, whoever their opponents will be will have a hard time beating a highly motivated Paul and hungry Phoenix squad.
