The Phoenix Suns were riding high with a 2-0 lead heading into Game 3 of the NBA Finals, but now we have ourselves a series after the Milwaukee Bucks pounded Devin Booker and Co. 120-100 at Fiserv Forum. After Booker hit dagger after dagger in the Game 2 win, he couldn't get much of anything to go down in an absolute stinker of a performance in Game 3.

Booker had just 10 points on 3-of-14 shooting and 1-of-7 from 3-point range in 29 minutes on Sunday night. Suns coach Monty Williams didn't even play him in the fourth quarter with the game so out of hand already.

The Suns star addressed his poor performance and brushed it off as just one of those nights:

Phoenix knew Milwaukee would play with desperation on its home court after losing the first two games. The Suns actually had the advantage after the first quarter, but then the Bucks hit them with an onslaught over the next two quarters to turn the game into a laugher.

Aside from Jae Crowder, who went 6-of-7 from 3-point land, the Suns were 3-of-24 from deep after the red-hot Game 2 performance in which they buried 20 triples. The Bucks, meanwhile, bounced back from their poor shooting performance by going 14-of-36 from deep. They also dominated inside thanks to Giannis Antetokounmpo and his 41-point game.

Booker and the Suns just need to chuck this game in the toilet and get ready to bounce back in Game 4. It was always highly unlikely that this was going to be a short and easy sweep, so there's no reason to panic. If Phoenix can hunker down and play well in Game 4, the team could return home with a chance to win its first title.

Of course, the Suns will need Booker to be much better in order to do that. He had the right mindset after Game 3, so we'll see how he comes out in a crucial Game 4.
