The Phoenix Suns are facing the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday, and Suns head coach Igor Kokoškov says star shooting guard Devin Booker will play.

Booker has missed the previous three games due to a back injury. The Suns went 2-1 during that stretch, with wins over the Denver Nuggets and Sacramento Kings. They fell to the Dallas Mavericks.

Devin Booker has played in 31 games this season for the Suns. The 22-year-old is averaging 24.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 6.9 assists per game while shooting 45.2 percent from the field, 32.6 percent from beyond the arc and 84.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Phoenix is 11-33 on the season, 15th place in the Western Conference.

Back injuries are tricky and can linger for a while. One day the back can feel good, and then the next day it can stiffen up. The Suns should be careful with how they manage Booker's minutes moving forward. Kokoškov says he's not going to put a minutes restriction on the sharpshooter versus the Pacers, but that may not be such a smart idea.
