That one had to hurt.

A second quarter incident overshadowed a huge start for the Phoenix Suns in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Dallas Mavericks. Suns forward Jae Crowder delivered a leg kick right to the groin of Mavericks star Luka Doncic, who was left on the floor in massive pain.

The Suns veteran was assessed a flagrant 1 for the play, and that decision caught the eye of an often-persecuted NBA superstar.

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green could only laugh at the play. Referees assessed Green a flagrant 2 and got ejected during Game 1 against the Memphis Grizzlies. He made contact with the face of Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke on a defensive play and subsequently yanked on the young big man's jersey.

Green was clearly watching the game between the Suns and the Mavericks. He reacted with not one, not two, not three, not four, but five tweets related to the incident.

Of course, Crowder didn't receive an ejection after his hit on Doncic. He scored 11 points in the first half on 3-of-4 shooting from three-point distance. Doncic was okay after the play and returned to action. He headed to the locker room at the half with a game-high 26 points on 18 shots.

With Crowder remaining in the contest, Green also offered a seemingly sarcastic remark.

Of course, this isn't the first Suns groin kick-related incident of the NBA Playoffs. The NBA retroactively gave Suns star Chris Paul a flagrant 1 after his exaggerated leg kick nailed New Orleans Pelicans rookie Jose Alvarado in the private area during Game 5 of their series.

Take a note, Suns. Green is watching.
