Buddy Hield must be the most hated man by Minnesota Timberwolves fans—all 40 of them—after he sank the go-ahead three-pointer on Wednesday, leading the Sacramento Kings to a come-from-behind win, 128-125.

Hield drained the dagger from deep with less than 10 seconds left to give the Kings a 126-125 advantage. The Timberwolves failed to score in the ensuing possession and the Kings closed it out to avenge their loss in the first night of their back-to-back matchup and gave some life to their flatlining play-in tournament hopes.

After the game, Hield talked about how important it is to close out games and welcomed the extra pressure of playing back-to-back outings (via NBCS Kings).

The former University of Oklahoma standout scored 29 points against the Timberwolves, built on 7-of-11 marksmanship from long distance. He also added six rebounds and five assists, backstopping backcourt mate De'Aaron Fox who topscored with 30 markers on top of five boards and seven dimes.

This season has been a tough one for Hield. There are nights when he's as hot as a scalding saucepan. Then there are games when he can't seem to buy a bucket even when it's on a Black Friday sale, making his NBA Fantasy owners madly contemplate the true meaning of life.

He had it going on Wednesday though, making up for his poor 11-point performance in their loss to the Timberwolves on Tuesday. The Kings will have a four-day break before getting into another tough back-to-back schedule against the Golden State Warriors and the Dallas Mavericks.

To summarize, Buddy Hield needs to stay hot.
