What chemistry issues? The Oklahoma City Thunder pair of Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony showed no signs of unfamiliarity when they hooked up for a highlight-reel worthy alley-oop slam dunk during the first quarter of Wednesday’s matchup at home against the visiting Toronto Raptors.

Turning great defense into offense, Westbrook capitalized on a forced turnover from the Raptors on the other side of the court by throwing a pinpoint eye-in-the-sky assist towards Anthony.

It’s just one of the several assists Russell Westbrook would make in the game, but it’s hard to pick a basket in which he assisted that ended on a more emphatic finish than Carmelo Anthony’s throwdown.

Westbrook entered the game averaging 9.9 assists per game to go with 23.9 points and 9.4 rebounds.

Everyone should see plenty of the same play executed by the Thunder as the season trudges on, as Oklahoma City is tops in the NBA in steals with 10.0 per game, which largely explains why the team is also second in the league in points off turnovers with 19.9 per contest.
