Coming off a big win over the defending NBA champions, the Oklahoma City Thunder are focused on parlaying their 108-91 triumph against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday into another victory, as they play the Detroit Pistons at home Friday. The Thunder are not going to let the fun of that win sap their focus away from what should be an interesting showdown with the Pistons.

Thunder center Steven Adams, however, appears to have forgotten one minor detail about that game. When asked by Fred Katz of the Norman Transcript about his take on the Thunder debuting their new “Statement” uniforms in the Pistons game, Adams was obviously clueless about it, as he immediately gave Katz a quizzical look as though it was just the first time he was told that there’s a bear hidden in Toblerone’s logo.

There’s so much that goes into the preparation of players for a game. They watch tapes of their opponents, get their bodies ready for another battle on the court over a short rest, and travel. All these take so much time that it’s understandable for them to forget the minutiae that also comes with being an NBA player, so let’s just cut Steven Adams some slack.
