The Minnesota Timberwolves came into Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Golden State Warriors with a 2-1 series lead, and they are now on the verge of going up 3-1 thanks to Anthony Edwards. Anthony Edwards is once again having a huge game, and he was on fire during the third quarter. He got off to a bit of a cold start in this one, but he is heating up, and the Timberwolves are feeling good.

This game was close in the first half, but the Timberwolves took complete control of the game in the third quarter thanks to Edwards. It is looking like they will head back to Minnesota with a 3-1 series lead.
After winning Game 1 on the road, the Warriors have fallen apart in this series, and it is looking like they are going to go down 3-1 after Game 4. Losing Stephen Curry was obviously detrimental for this team, and it's hard to know where they go from here.

The Warriors needed a win in Game 4 to avoid the disastrous 3-1 hole with a road game in Game 5, and Golden State had the lead at halftime. This one got off to a good start as both team traded blows in the first quarter, and then the Timberwolves had control for a good portion of the second. However, Golden State turned it on down the stretch of the first half and took a two-point lead into the locker room.
For the first five or so minutes of the third quarter, both teams were going back-and-forth, and it was tied at 68 with about eight minutes left. Unfortunately for the Warriors, Anthony Edwards took over the game in the third quarter, and Minnesota went on a 17-0 run. They ended up stretching the lead to 20, and it's going to be very difficult for Golden State to make a comeback in this one.
If Minnesota does hold on to get this win, they will be in complete control of the series with Game 5 back at home, and Game 7 if necessary. With Anthony Edwards playing some incredible basketball, this team is good enough to get past any team in its path. However, there is still work to be done in this game and series before we can start thinking about that.
