The Toronto Raptors smashed the Golden State Warriors 113-93 on Wednesday night, despite not having superstar Kawhi Leonard available for the second consecutive game. Even without Leonard, Stephen Curry and the Warriors suffered through a nightmarish offensive performance, going 6-of-26 on 3-pointers and turning the ball over 19 times.
Curry had arguably his worst showing of the season, scoring just 10 points on 3-of-12 shooting and committing four turnovers. This poor performance came right after the whole fake moon landing fiasco involving Curry, making Danny Green's comments about the Raptors' âluckyâ victory all the more cheeky, per The Athletic's Blake Murphy.Â

Curry had made some controversial comments about the moon landing being a fake on a podcast with Andre Iguodala, Vince Carter and Kent Bazemore, and after some backlash and NASA inviting him to the lunar lab, the two-time MVP backtracked and said he was only joking. But the damage had been done, and Green couldn't help himself after his Raptors annihilated the Warriors at Oracle Arena.
Stephen Curry may never live down these moon comments, even if he was only joking. One would think he would've known better after the whole Kyrie Irving flat Earth episode.
