The Toronto Raptors have now lost two straight games against the Philadelphia 76ers in the teams’ second-round matchup in the Eastern Conference Playoffs.
While the Raptors walloped the 76ers in the first game, Philly has responded by eking out a close win in Game 2 and then trouncing the Raps at home in Game 3. Joel Embiid went off for 33 points and 10 rebounds, matching a historic feat in under 30 minutes of court time, and Toronto was let down by poor play from its bench and All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry.
Perhaps Lowry’s most notable moment in the game occurred in a non-basketball incident, when he rested his mammoth rear end on Ben Simmons' head, to which Simmons responded with a nudge in the groin region.
If the Raptors want to have any hope of taking Game 4, they will need a big performance from Lowry, and he echoed that sentiment on Saturday.

“Big. Huge. Huge,” he said when asked about the importance of Game 4, per Josh Lewenberg of TSN. “We need it. It's a must-win for us. We wanna win it. We're gonna desperately go out there and play as hard as we possibly can to win the game.”
Lowry is right, of course. Even though this series will shift back to Toronto for two of its final three games should it go the distance, overcoming a 3-1 deficit after three straight losses would be extremely difficult for the Raptors, especially against a Philadelphia team that seems get better every time it takes the floor.
Game 4 is on Sunday.
