The Golden State Warriors this season appear to have a problem with technical fouls, and that problem has recently been addressed by the team's general manager, Bob Myers, per Chris Haynes of ESPN.
Myers is reportedly worried about the rate at which the Warriors are accumulating technicals and ejections this season. Haynes laid out where the Warriors rank in those two categories this season.
The Warriors have accumulated 39 technical fouls, second most in the league behind the Oklahoma City Thunder (40). They lead the league in ejections, with nine, with the Memphis Grizzlies second at five ejections. Draymond Green (14) and Durant (11) have combined for 25 technical fouls and seven ejections, with Kevin Durant tops in the association with four. KD had only one ejection in his previous 10 seasons prior to entering this campaign.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr relayed Myers' message, per Haynes.
“It's not a good look,” Kerr said in explaining what Myers' message was. “We need to look more professional, to act more professional, and to be more poised, and to represent our team in a better light. I don't think we've been doing a good job of that lately.”
Kerr also took some responsibility for the technical fouls, per Haynes.

That's a lot of techs. The Warriors aren't exactly known as one of the biggest complainers in the NBA, but something is clearly happening for the Warriors to have that many.
The only number that may not surprise fans is Draymond Green's. But even still, the Warriors are not doing well with controlling themselves this season.
Perhaps the meeting with Myers will change something going into the All-Star break and thereafter.
